Serenity by the Sea is owned by Luannah and her husband, Juan, who have created this peaceful retreat to offer guests a sanctuary surrounded by nature’s beauty.
When can I check in and out of my accommodation?
Check-in time is from 4:30 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. If you need early check-in or late check-out, please contact our front desk in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
Is there parking available for guests?
Yes, we offer complimentary parking for all our guests. Our spacious lot is located adjacent to the main building, ensuring convenient access to your accommodation.
Do you offer complimentary Wi-Fi access?
Absolutely! We provide free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the retreat, including in all guest rooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces.
Are furry friends welcome at the retreat?
While we love animals, we maintain a no-pet policy to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests and to accommodate those with allergies. Service animals are, of course, always welcome.
Can I order meals directly to my room?
Yes, we offer room service from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily. You can find the menu in your room or request one from our front desk.
Does the retreat have a swimming pool for guests?
Yes, we have a beautiful heated outdoor pool overlooking the ocean. It’s open from May to September, weather permitting. We also have an indoor hot tub available year-round.
What spa treatments do you offer?
Our spa offers a wide range of treatments, including massages, facials, body wraps, and aromatherapy sessions. We also have a sauna and steam room. Please visit our spa reception or website for a full list of services and to book your treatments.
Are there any dining options available at the retreat?
Yes, we have two on-site dining options. Our main restaurant, Ocean View, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a focus on local, sustainable cuisine. We also have a casual café, The Lighthouse, perfect for light bites and beverages throughout the day.
How can I reach Galiano Island and the retreat?
Galiano Island is accessible by BC Ferries from Tsawwassen (near Vancouver) or Swartz Bay (near Victoria). Once on the island, we offer a complimentary shuttle service from the ferry terminal to our retreat. Please inform us of your arrival time when booking so we can arrange your pickup.
